EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AT THE MPABD

The Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam (MPABD) is a body corporate established under the Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam Order, 2017 and is responsible in ensuring vessel safety and security, seafarers’ welfare and ports affairs in Brunei Darussalam. We are seeking for motivated and suitably qualified applicants for the following positions:

Senior Port Superintendent (1)
Legal Counsel (1)
Senior Finance Manager (1)
Legal Counsel II (1)
Manager (4)
Vessel Traffic Officer (1)
Port Superintendent (2)
Trainee Officer (5)
Assistant Officer (4)
Senior Corporate Assistant (3)
Corporate Assistant (9)
Operation Assistant (8)

General Requirements:

Applicant must have an extensive understanding of the Maritime and Ports Orders and Regulations;
Have a strong communication and analytical skills with good organisational and planning skills coupled with strong capability in report writing;
Must be fluent in oral, written Malay and English as well as being IT literate;
Able to work closely with senior-level executives and subordinates
Able to work independently, perform under pressure and work effectively as a team.
Other terms and conditions are governed by regulations that take effect from time to time.
